Dear Jacob,
In a very short time you are going to be 20 years old!
I think its time for you to think seriously about your future.
Time is moving very fast.
Not long ago you ver a child and now you are an adult young man.
One day you will meet nice a women and you will want to stay with her.
Thats life and it is beautiful but in order to have a normal, healthy and financially secure life you have to start acting now.
Believe me the time is running very fast and one day you may wake up in the morning and think: Oh my God Im already 35 years old and I havent got any substantial education, I havent finished any studies and I also havent got any real profession
By that time it is possible both your Mother and I are going to be gone forever
I wrote possible because it is possible
Now I want you to think for a minute and answer yourself a simple question:
Do you want to have a really good, heathy, financially secure and satisfying life?
And if your answer is yes you have to have a realistic plan how to achieve it and step-by-step implement it.
You have to start now.
Not tomorrow or in a month or later but NOW!
There is a lot at stake.
At the moment everything is still within your reach and only if you want to make a real effort.
It is not going to be like that forever and as time goes it is going to be more difficult.

Realistically speaking at the moment there is nobody in the world who would give you any money whatsoever for no reason and only because you are working on your games.
Of course it is work but it is at the moment a work subsidised by your Mother and myself.
Unless youd go and get employment with a games designing company, then you would have a salary based on your performance and achievements and it would be certainly not a gift .
Your current situation that is basically staying at home without performing almost any domestic duties and concentrating only on your games cannot continue!
The reason is very simple. We cannot afford it financially.
Everything is very expensive. Rent, food, gas electricity, phones etc. and after departure of ....deleted name... there is a hole in the budget of $500 every month.
It is a lot of money and nobody in the world is going to give it to us.
We have to pay it ourselves or the Real Estate agent is going to through you and your Mother out. It is that simple and brutal. It is happening to hundreds of people all over the world.
Under those circumstances there are 3 options for you:
1) You will find out an appropriate course and enrol to go to the University or any higher education so you would get pay as a student.
2) Immediately get a job.
3) Immediately apply for the Social Security.
You have to choose what you want to do.
Doing nothing is not an option!
I would advise you strongly and my advice is based on a life long experience find a University course for yourself and go for it.
You are a highly intelligent young man and you will have a good time at the Uni. Youll also meet some very nice people, participate in many interesting and stimulating activities, form valuable relationships etc. It is worth it and you can do it without any doubt! It can be a very productive and exciting time and it is only up to you!
These steps have to be taken now.
Not in a month or a few years but NOW.
If you want to live in a flat you have to contribute financially.
It has to be done simply for some basic stability and security.
Please think about it and take appropriate steps.

PS. Im sure you are aware that by the age of 20 parents have no obligations to support their offspring.
It happens only if there is love in the Family, a good will and the offspring is cooperating and contributing.
Under those circumstances any violent and juvenile outbursts resulting in breaking phones. TV antenna etc. are totally not acceptable!
Nobody is going to put up with that kind of behaviour.
You must cooperate now.
It is that plain and simple.
